Dissolved 2002 — Sorel-Tracy City Police was integrated into the Sûreté du Québec. SQ MRC de Pierre-De Saurel post inaugurated by Minister Robert Dutil 2011-09-12, currently at 1805 boulevard Saint-Louis, Sorel-Tracy. The original seed name 'Régie intermunicipale de police Richelieu — Yamaska' (with allowed_domain riprsly.qc.ca) appears to have been a drafting confusion; no such régie has been located. Current policing by sq-qc; conduct decisions concerning ex-SPST officers may surface on canlii-qccdp historically. Kept as historical entry for jurisdictional continuity.
