Manitoba's Fatality Inquiries Act gives OCME responsibility for investigating unexpected and violent deaths. Inquest reports are produced by the Provincial Court (judge-led after OCME investigation) and published at manitobacourts.mb.ca/provincial-court/inquest-reports/ — that split between OCME and the court is why the seed crosses two hosts.
