Coroners Act mandates inquests into deaths in custody of or caused by peace officers. Death Review Panels publish topical reports (illicit drug toxicity, extreme heat, youth suicide, etc.). Inquest verdicts + DRP reports are the primary source material for police-involved-death analysis in BC. www2.gov.bc.ca WAF can be touchy — Playwright + realistic UA handles it where httpx/curl stall.
